This summer I read an awesome book. The book I read this summer was "Diary of a Wimpy Kid;The Third Wheel" by Jeff Kinney.
In the book, Greg the main character is experiencing some problems in his social life. The begging of the book he talks about how he loved it when he wasn't born yet, and also how it was bad at the same time. For example, he didn't have homework or school and that he just asked for food. He also didn't like it because he had to listen to her moms and dads conversations, when his parents kissed, and also boring stories that later became some what important. He talks about his childhood when he was born and it didn't go good for him. For example, he had to get pass downs from his older brother Rodrick.
He is in middle school now. Greg is preparing for Valentines day dance. He asked this girl out to the valentine day dance and her name was Abigail. Abigail said yes because her boyfriend/dance partner didn't have time and had to go somewhere else. It's valentines day, Greg is ready to go pick up Abigail with his best friend Rowley and the driver "guy" was Rowley's dad. Finally after sometime Abigail was ready.
They all arrived at the school for the dance. Greg was sort of nervous and the girl didn't really pay attention to Greg. Everything was going great when the boyfriend of Abigail showed up to the Valentines Dance and Abigail cried so much. Greg barley did anything because Abigail's friend where cheering her up. The dance went great but then it went bad because the Senior Center Meeting ,so they had to split the gym in half and the people had to turn on the lights for the senior people to see. The Seniors then claim that the music was to loud.
The night of the dance didn't go to well for Greg, Rowley an Abigail became better with each other and so Greg had to be like the third wheel.
I like how you stated a statment and then supported it by giving examples from the story
ReplyDeleteI agree with Breanny, you did a good job stated the main idea. I liked the way you described the story. You put a lot of great details into your response.
ReplyDeleteI like how you summarized the book and gave the main idea with examples.
